woohoo, 2day finally went to jogoya tht i’ve been wanting to go for so long, its located in starhill galeri, Bukit Bintang, juz beside pavillion.. went wif kelvin,siong hon, wei siang, jia yeen, yik shiow. took public transport to bukit bintang. Lrt at tmn Bahagia then change to Monorail. Omg lar, KL monorail so many ppl, packe inside worst than sardines oni.

reached Jogoya at 12.30 late 30 minutes >.< . i shall let the pics do the talking from now on.

Whats the best thing about celebrating christmas in Malaysia??

1. Ice cream!! we can indulge in baskin robbins without freezing up XD
2. Tank tops and flip flops are always in fashion , cause its never winter??
3. no need to waste $$$ on winter clothes, plus we* get to flaunt whatever curves we’ve got. *oni apply to lady*
4. Shops are still open despite the holiday~ pasar malam as well(mamak! yummy!)
5. the weather! love it, hate it, unpredictable as it is, it will keep you warm during those cold winter nights all year round.
6. No snow storms. that’s one thing less to worry about….and no frost bite.
7. Decorations!No show? Don’t fret! you’ll still get the christmas spirit with all the mall decorations.
8. Food! Fruit cake? turkey? Nah…… why have all those when you can have ayam rendang, nasi lemak, dim dum, roti canai and lots lots more ;p
9. want to know the best part about christmas in M’sia??

Yosh ppl…its been 10 days since my exam over. my brain is completely shut dwn. pls dun ask me to think or do any plannings…coz i cant XD.

well…went to sepang right after exam to wei siang’s ‘holiday villa’. 3days 2 night. wat i do there?? PS2…DOTA…CS…Starcraft…TD wif my college friends…9 of us in total, 1 PS2, 6 laptops. hardcore playing whole day…ntg but games…haha…it was so enjoyable n fun. 0.o not to mention the food there also…haha so funny, 2nd day dinner, went to some chinese restaurant, 9 guys, 9 dishes, less than 20mins, the whole table empty . lol. was surprise me was the bill is rather cheap. oni RM160. if we eat those stuff in KL, it cna easily reach above 200++.

haiz…now tht the holidays hav started, i’ve got absolutely ntg to do…no car…cant go anywhere…gonna rot at home…too lazy to find a job…well i did send in 1 application but i haven heard from them since….so i guess tht they dun wan me lol.

now i oni hav to wait till 10december. judgement day. its either i get into Monash or i dun >.< so worried.

oh well, wats done is done lar, i also dunno which other Uni to go to. IMU?? UCSI??. i really dunno. at least when i blog now i dun hav to keep reminding myself bout the digit 90 ^^

- the day where everything comes to an end.
Finals are finally over…which also means end of my programme…the end of Sunway University College…now the results awaits which will be released on the 10th of december. >.< so worried about it…if i cant reach my requirement i seriously dunno which other Uni to go to…IMU?? UCSI?? but their intake are around june…whic is around 7 8mths from now. there a huge gap between and i’ll b forced to work part-time…which i’m so reluctant to do XD. besides i was shocked and surprised by IMU’s requirement for their Pharmacy requirement. Its 70% aggregate for each sub. OMG. its really dam low for such a reputable medical sch. its very low compare to monash n ucsi which is 85% aggregate per sub. even the Medicine is rather low-80% per sub. walau…but i dun wanna go IMU, if the requirements r tht low…every1 could easily enter tht course*apart from passing the interview* haiz….big decisions awaits.

Oh well…i finally got my laptop fixed after such a long time…over-heating problem…SONY is actually aware of this prob n they r recalling this model back to fix the part…so i got the hardware replace for free..yesha i can finally play games n watch movie wif my laptop without worrying bout over-heating rob :)

Rusty. OMG lar…after my final paper..when to the Cyber near my college wif a few friends..we played 3 hours of dota n we nvr won a game. can u imagine how rusty i am?? even my friends has gone rusty >.< i think wei siang also more pro than me d…haven touch for 6mths loose the touch liao. i’m gonna take this chance now to do intensive training. i cant believe myself how rusty i gotten into.

hmmm….yea thinking bout holidays…it would b a really boring 1 for me. i wont be working part-time this time. i really need a break from everything. this whole year has been really hectic for me…rushing all the time…with the March intake…i dun even hav time to breathe. >< i would b using this holiday to really rest. i’m so tired…really tired.

0.o college mates, teachers…i’m so gonna miss u much. its been a really good year. the ppl there r so fun n good 2 b wif. the march intakes specially. i’m actually rally glad i went into march intake. i met such wonderfull friends. i surely would not forget u guys n the moment we had together.

oh yea, today i had steamboat dinner wif my core group of friends compromising of 12 ppls in the dinner(2 din make it) i had a reservation at Yuen, very famous steamboat restaurant in Sunway. its was such a lovely n wonderfull time…i really enjoy n treasure the moment i hav wif u guys. i’m so glad u all can make it n really enjoy urself tonite. well…it seems that the 1 tht enjoyed the most was Siaw wei. haha…the rest of us were talking most of the time but she was the oni 1 quietly eating there…haha…its really funny. something even nicer was tht the way she ask. if was out of a sudden, i was studying, then she talk to me on msn saying : Yi-Zheng, can we please go eat Steamboat at Yuen on thursday?? pretty pls? “ LOL…i was also surprised she asked me…well i was actually also planning to bring u guys there to try since all of u guys haven tried it before.

talking bout my core friends…we oni hav 2 girsl in this group…lol i kinda feel sad for the guys, bcoz this ppl wanna take up engineering in Monash, so their main sub r Physics n Adv Maths, n thses two sub is the least amount of girls. so sad to say, they dun know much girls in the college.lol.

anyways, i’m feeling rather tired. so i think i’ll juz stop here for the night.

Oh me gosh, its the 30th of september, wednesday! a real heavy day for me,
Oral presentation in the morning, moral charity project in the noon, and Bio test 3 in the evening >.<

woke up this morning, getting ready, all dressed up and suddenly a downpour came, what luck, got wet getting into the car, >.<
however the oral presentation turn out Real good, probably on par with my 1st semester :), teacher was Satisfied with my presentation, all that i hope is that the marks is the same as my first semester and i’ll be happy enough.

next Moral project, geesh man, working my team members is the hardest and most stressing thing to do, i would say the team have absolutely no teamwork at all(except for a few) i really dunno what to do with them, is it because i’m a friend to all of them then they can behave the way as it is? or is it just my failure as the team leader?? (team members who read this pls tell me what u think, u dun hav to write ur name) , everybody says i got class…got exam… Of coz i know that, Hey guys, did u all ever thought that i’m in the same programme as u guys? Instead i have more stuff to do than u all, U guys cant even complete a simple i gav u!! some of u which i was really dissapointed, nvm, its ok, i dun wanna blame anyone for this, i’ll just take this as a training to prepare me in the future, well of course not forgetting, Kudos and thank you for those who really stand behind me all the time.

in my course, english part B, we are required do to a research project, the titles are of : crime and punishment, genetic engineering, medical advancement…etc etc etc.

we are given 8 weeks to finish off this project, it is in an argumentative form, word limit 2000-2500 but also varies according to teachers. the whole project includes abstract, intro, body of report + 3 arguments, conclusion and recommendation. of coz we muz not forget the reference list. the only thing about our project that is so special, is that we are not allowed to use wikipedia. according to Sunway, their source is not that reliable. >.>

however we have very good source from the library, all of our information can be obtain from the library’s web and their co-partners such as EBSCOHOST, ebrary, britanica *all not speeled correctly* >.<

so as a typical college students, we tend to that these lightly and seeing there is so much time, naturally we put this a side and only untill the laz minute only we take it out to do. haha the due date for this project is this thrusday(17th sept) now comes the fun part, this is one of the only time u can see almost everyone online and until late at night. guess what they all have in common??

Rushing their project of coz, this is also not the best time to disturb them, they’ll all be super busy , stress and also frustrated.

well fortunately enough for me, I’m DOne!! huuray for me haha. of coz, thx to all the fabulous people who has help me in this project specially from Taylors college. whithout their help i think i would not be having the time to write this XD.
i’m feeling so evil and mischievous right now, its really a good feeling if ur in my position right now especially if ur an evil person. u see everybody stressing up while u relax n watch by the side XD
haha, no offence tot the people who are reading this, i’m juz happy that i finished off early.

Finally the week is over. I’ve had the roughest week ever in MUFY. 3 Assesment in 1 week and a draft to pass up >.<

Chem on Monday, Maths on thursday and Bio on Friday. Omg, Ms Wong says that every1 did really Badly X.X even the really good ones. she say not only to our class but also other classes as well. I’m a gonner for sure.

The english draft @.@ our whole class was suppose to pass it up on tuesday. on monday nite every1 was online for the first time and until late late night. all also chiong their draft. I also slept very very alte tht nite >.< then on tuesday morning teacher only tell us that draft due on friday!! WTH lar, everybody also like ‘cursing’ all din sleep do draft only to know that its not due yet. aizz..

    News has juz reported the 8th H1N1 death in our country…so far there is 1400++ suspected/infected patients… it looks like H1N1 is getting out of control. More over with the hot weather, everyone is more prone to be sick or infected.

    That does not exclude me >.< yea, i’m feeling very weak also. have a sore throat and coughing…however is mine the symptoms of H1N1 or Stress??

Exotic Elixirs

when the mercury soars, try some refreshing drinks. Here are some suggestions :-

Karkady this tart red tea is popular in Egypt( it goes by other names in Mexico, Jamaica and spain)

Aam panna On scorching days, Indians keep a pitcher of aam panna on hand. To make it, boil raw mangoes and bland the pulp with water, sugar, salt, chili powder, cumin and crushed ice. top with mint leaves. Try this at home :)

Horchata This ice drink was originally made in Mexican homes by grinding rice with a mortar and pestle.

Ayran A tangy mint drink u can find in any Mcdonalds in Turkey or simply make it yourself.

2 tbs. mint, chopped
2 tbs sugar
3 cups whole yogurt, plain
1 cup or more water
1. combine mint and sugar in mortar. Crush with pestle until they form a syrupy paste ( use a blender if you don’t have a mortar and pestle)
2. Combine yogurt and water until smooth and milky. Stir in into mixture and pour over ice. serves 6.

        Its a saturday and I have to get up as early as 7.30am in the morning >.< I attend a talk today held by UTAR. the talk is about secret to success by Tony Christansen. This guy is physically challenge, he lost his legs at a train accident at the age of 9. Its was then at that point changes his life forever.

        he wrote 3 books that hits the best seller list, he has 12 gold medals and numerous silver and bronze. he conquer Africa’s second highest mountain, Mount Kilimajaro. It is 5835m above sea levels.
he is also new zealand’s first ever physically challenge person to solo fly a plane, and he is iz New Zealands history of Aviation.

        Its really amazing that a guy without his both legs could have achieve so much. He faces difficult challenges everyday because of people’s perception towards the disable. But i can tell you this man is a multi-millionaire $.$ haha.

         So during his talk, he talks about his life story and the challenges he face and how he faces them. The secret to success as said by him is Attitude. Its the attitude that determines the habit, the habit that determines your personality. Right attitude Right way of living. Another thing he said which was very meaningful and good was : people have only 2 very important event in life, the Birth-date and the day they die. But its up to the person how long he makes the ‘dash’ in between those two dates,how thick they are, how meaningful they are.

           well, i attended this talk with my 2 best friend, kelvin and Wei siang. They both said that they benefited from this talk and i was glad because i ask them to join me. I myself have also benefited from it, I can really tell you what i benefited but i know i did. well, the final quote that he gave was from a very famous guy, Henry Ford. He said “ if you think you can , you can. If you think you can’t, you can’t.” Which is very true.

           Hmmm…i hope I’ll be able to handle life better and be more successful after this.

Monday Blues…

    Its a Monday,start of a new week, I want weekends to hurry up haha. This weeks the Monash Information week, all classes cut short by 15mins. Monash people holding talks on future career, and don’t even have talks on Pharmacy!! >.> so basically all the talks has got nothing to do with me, extra break time for me only.

     hmm…what else what else. Well, todays the start of my first Moral class, omg man, i hate the class back people. its like they just couldn shut up. its damn noisy. the teacher cant even talk! the teacher straight talk to the most important stuff which is the internal marks. 50% project,10% attendance & 40% external.

     What gets everybody excited is the external project. It sounds really fun, we have 2 projects, 1 is community service the other 1 is presentation. well the community project is all about fund raising for this unfortunate kids. hmm…she set sales target 5k!! luckily its for the whole of MUFY. 1 team consist of around 15++ members. mine initially has 15 then add another 2 extra. 1 is a new friend that got no group and just join me by random >.> the rest are all my friends. the closest ones i have in Sun-U.

      once the teacher brief us on our project the whole class went off again. its worst than the night market. well, it looks like my team members are really excited with this fund raising project. i’m very excited about it too, couldnt wait to start, hmm…did i mention i was the team leader?? then everyone was talking about it…what to sell…what to do…where do we get the financial support…richard had a hard time though haha…everyone was like looking at him for the financial support haha. 5k would really be a challenge if its the team’s profit target, unfortunately its not. i’m still quite blur about the whole project and how is it suppose to function actually, teacher wants a draft on budget, target profit bla bla bla by net monday…oh well

       Man…it looks like i’ll be using the com very frequent from now especially with the research project, i’m still undecided about which topic to do. Medical advancement or Genetic Engineering?? come on guys give me some inspiration or help me a little here.

        i guess that should be it for my Monday…not to mention its also my worst and most hectic day in the week.

    its a Friday, the day everyone been looking forward to. I went tropicana with Kelvin, siang & richard for badminton. it’ll be our weekly sport. every friday i’ll try to make it a point to have a game of badminton. the game lasted 2 hours with me n kel vs siang+ richie haha.

    after that we went to tropicana city for dinner and to catch Harry potter. we went to some korean restaurant called Kimchi. lol. funny name. quite a nice restaurant. have the typicall BBq. but i order some hot plate(chicken & squid) share it with richard. it was delicious and filling also haha.*pics will be uploaded later. then we also order some vege korean style pancake, was not as nice as i thought, lacking on taste. overall not a bad place to eat, pricing a little costly haha. i wont mind coming back again but i have some where in mind in tropicana city.

     well, after dinner then we head over to the show. cinema was not really crowed but the F&B section has a big Q. so ah siang did not get his drinks as we’re a little late too. the movie lasted 2 hours plus as expected. overall the movie ok ok only. i just watch it cause its harry potter lol. but one part really shocked me. its the part when harry and dumbledore went to retrieve the 4th hocrux. when harry wanted to take some water and some hands just pop out and grap his arm. lol that was really shocking, i did jump a little. totally did not expect it.

       well that’s about it. now have to do a little revision on chemistry.got quiz on monday >.<

Jan Intake’s life??

        i’ve juz had my fastest chem lab today. 15mins gao dim. super fast. what we did was the flame test. burn some sample of compund and note the colour. quite interesting though but quite a short experiment/observation.

        So this is the life of a jan intake. can have 15mins classes >.> their life like so senang haiz. i miss my march intake classes lol.

        oh well, tmr have to hand up my first bio assignment. quite a simple 1 though. teacher just ask us to give the defination of each of the classification of organism. all i have to do is just vopy from the book >.<

       Today we finish watching our movie Cheaper by the Dozen, not too bad show, alil touching at the end lol.

        waliao man…i’ve got one of the worst bio class ever today. My teacher spend like 1 whole hour briefing us on how to write a lab report>.< i feel like i’m in kindergarden again. well, let me briefly explain how she teach.

        A lab report consist of 9 important things which is : title, hypothesis, objective etc etc. she has this all in the slide. then she go like one per slide. for example: the first slide is title, then below it is the defination of the title…i’m like omg lar. she did this for each and every slide == haiz…i dunno whether its me or her. feel like changing teacher, she’s going rather slow. the same goes for physics.

         with this i can clearly feel the difference between march and jan intake. I miss march intake actually haha. Anyways what comes along comes along lar haiz…quite free untill got time to blog. well i hope i can do very much better this sem since its rather relax.

My english teacher has started our theme studies with the movie first Cheaper by The Dozen. Its a very interesting movie, a comedy, was really hilarious haha. well since we only got 1 hour class we only got to watch half of the show. can’t wait haha.

      Today i also have the fastest physics class ever.
    -1~3mins, everyone get into the lab.
    -3~5mins, teacher sort us into groups.
    -5~10mins, teacher distributed our lab sheets.
    -10~11mins, Class Dismisses.

Argh..the start of my hectic days 8am-6pm back to back classes. well, today seems ok though not as tiring as i thought i would be. Talking about Moral Studies its really stupid, all the students were in the class and we like waited 30mins and the teacher still din show up. Then me and my group of friends decided to find that teacher in charge. when we found her, then only she tells us today no class!! waliao wei sit in class wasted 30mins then only tell us no class ==.

Talking about the teacher, i'm rather worried. she's like those nice nice old ladies that can just keep talking about i don't know what. then after she go show us the past year's community project, my friends and were like *roll eyes, omgosh she's really good at talking. Finally we got to go off phew.

Thank goodness also that when i drove back home the traffic was quite smooth, saves me the time and stress haha.

Another week gone just like that, time really flies. Arh..at least i've done something today, I've finish reading The Outsider. Wow man, the books truly not within my expectation, reading the first few pages was rather torturous, also they have funny vocab in there. i cant understand some of their words like when they say Heater, its actually stand for a gun LOL.
But still, not a bad book, rather interesting. whats worrying me next is the question that can be ask from it. Not gonna be simple>.>

Hmm...weekends with nothing to do really bores me out, been reading manga ever since i finish reading The Outsider , its so bad for health>.<.

second semester starts

pooh...second semester finally started. Waa, timetable so hectic i've class everyday from like 8.30 till 4pm>.< siao ler, back to back classes somemore. teachers so far all ok, physics and bio is new teachers i think, both also Malay =.= ,hope they can teach well haha. My maths teacher known as Ms W. Omg lar, she teaches so so so slow...for the past few classes i've been dozing off in her class d,(to say its also boring there)zzz.

I wonder if this the speed of the teachers coz its a normal sem now compared to my 1st sem which is accelerated. anyways gonna work very hard from now on, targetting 90 per sub>.<
